LabSolue Perfume Laboratory

Located in the Milan design district, in Via Forcella 8, the LabSolue sensorial laboratory was built where the former Marvin factory once stood. It is placed inside the Magna Pars hotel, the world's only Hotel à Parfum where a suite is dedicated to each of the sixty-eight LabSolue essences.

Re-imagined to blend historical influences and contemporary hospitality, the structure combines original materials of industrial architecture such as iron and glass with wood, a warmer expression of a strong bond with nature. Inside, the old Marvin brand lives on in references to archive objects from the 1950s and 1960s kept in wooden cabinets with drawers and display cases inspired by the pharmaceutical laboratory and in the characteristic amber-colored glass pharmacy bottles.

The Laboratory is divided into the perfume library and the Fruits and Aromatics, Flowers, Woods and Resins olfactory islands as well as the island dedicated to artisan candles. There is a true gem on the counter, where you will find the fragrances of the Aqua Adornationis line that LabSolue dedicates to the finest emotions linked to the stories and personalities of the Martone family.

Everything can be traced back to the pharmaceutical tradition, glass funnels are used to smell the perfumes and the essences are stored in steel refrigerators protected from the light and at a temperature of five degrees. The products are filled, packaged and labeled at the moment: a Lab Tender expert stimulates the olfactory memory of each perfume lover seeking a fragrance able to evoke a particular recollection and make it their own.
