Esxence – The Art Perfumery Event, in partnership with Cosmoprof as part of Milano Beauty Week, an initiative by Cosmetica Italia, invites you to explore the power of fragrance through a sensory journey and an immersive art installation that combines botany, video art, and scent, titled Scented Art - Saving Beauty, Building Future.
The installation highlights the strong connection between art and science in the creation of beauty. The olfactory dimension complements this, with perfume becoming a key to envisioning the future, preserving nature and the memory of the world. Some digital works by artist Debora Hirsch, addressing issues related to endangered plant species and drawing attention to the preservation of our ecosystem’s biodiversity, will be accompanied by olfactory creations by Andrej Babicky, who will interpret Debora Hirsch’s vision through fragrance.
Thanks to the support of the Italian Perfumery Institute, established to promote Italian excellence through specialised academic and professional paths, visitors will be able to experience a curated anthology of raw materials, both natural and synthetic, selected by MANE, a leading global fragrance house, and discover future trends in perfumery. Additionally, Esxence will host workshops and meetings with experts and creatives from the worlds of art and perfumery, including a session with the artists and curators of the installation, scheduled for Saturday, 28th September.
