The event, in collaboration with ConfGuide-GITEC and the fragrance house Symrise, offers a true journey through the streets, buildings, and both ancient and modern sites of Milan, all of which are deeply connected to scents that have shaped the city's history. Each stop is accompanied by the story of the scent that best characterizes it.
From the 'stagnant' air of mid-18th century Milan to the contemporary aroma of panettone, a fragrant trail in the shadow of the Duomo leads through eight stops in the city's history and the culture of perfume. From Piazza Cordusio to Teatro alla Scala, passing through the Biblioteca Ambrosiana and Camparino in Galleria, each stop offers a glimpse of the city as it once was; as piece by piece, the puzzle of its scents comes together.
